The course is designed for youth workers who would like to improve their project management skills. After the course you will understand better how to design the projects and implement them on the highest level.
During the course participants will be introduced to the fundamental concepts of the project management. They will learn how to write the project charter, how to determine project objectives, to assess risks. They will be introduced to the theory of budgeting. In addition to fundamentals of the project management participants will have the sessions on how to prepare a high-quality business plan, business model canvas will be introduced.
The course is designed for workers of NGO who would like to improve their project management skills. After the course you will understand better how to design the projects and implement them on the highest level.
Youth workers with the experience in implementing the projects are invited to the course as well as young people who have never designed own projects but could like to start doing that. The course will provide necessary tools and knowledge on how to design the project and implement it. If you have never implemented own projects but would like to get started – this course is definitely for you!
The course will take part in Moscow! In addition to the actual content of the course the participants will have the time and opportunity to visit the city center and see Red Square, Kremlin and other famous touristy places!
At the end of the course participants will be provided certificates confirming attendance of the course on project management for youth workers
If you always wanted to make your own projects – to organize international trainings, seminars or do any other projects – but did not know how to start – this course is for you!

PROGRAM
The program of the course is based on PMP (Project Management Professional) methodology. In addition to that we use some aspects taught within the modern MBA courses such as business model canvas and other concepts. We also include in the course the fundamentals of Lean Start-up theory – MVP (minimum viable product).
The course includes the foundations of Project management – the participants will learn how to write project charter, determine project objectives. The participants will be taught how to prepare the stakeholders register, how to assess the risks and prepare the risk register. They will also learn other elements of the project management theory.
Knowledge of the project management theory will allow the participants after returning back to their organizations be more effective creating the projects. They will be able to draft the projects in the professional manner.
The participants will learn how to write a business plan according to the modern business theory. They will learn the content of business model canvas, will learn how to write it.
The most fundamental concept of Lean Start-Up theory – the MVP (minimum viable product) also will be introduced to the participants. The concepts tell on the minimal requirements needed for the success of the project. The concept will be especially useful for participants without or with minimum experience in the project management. They will learn on what are the minimum requirements needed for the project.
All the learning will be accompanied with the practical exercises. The participants will not only learn the theory but also will learn how to use it. During the course participants will be offered to try on practice the theory they learn.
As for logistical arrangements – the participants will arrive on Sunday. There are no sessions on Sunday. The sessions will be from Monday to Friday. The sessions will be pretty intense so we recommend not to miss any of the parts of the sessions. The accommodation is provided till Sunday. And that means Saturday is the free day. Participants are invited to visit Moscow to see the beautiful touristy places on Saturday. But if course if they wish they can leave on Friday evening or on Saturday.

Costs
The fee for the course is 490 euro. The fee includes:
The program of the course (including all necessary study materials)
The accommodation (in the comfortable training center in Moscow)
Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee-breaks)
Transportation (pick-up from the airport upon arrival, drop-off at the airport upon departure)
Visa invitation (which you will need to bring to the Russian Consulate in order to apply for a visa)
Unfortunately we are not able to provide any scholarships.
In addition to the fee participants need to cover own travel costs.
