Policy Documents
Key advocacy report discusses challenges young people face related to sexual and reproductive health and rights, in many different contexts, and includes useful policy recommendations that may be considered and adapted to different environments. This document is an introduction for decision makers, service providers and youth leaders within the Federation on how IPPF can build on its legacy and transition to a youth-centred approach. It addresses the questions: what does this new thinking include? What does it mean in practice? How should we implement it? How should we measure progress? In this report, young people from around the world living with and most affected by HIV champion their vision for realizing and claiming their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and setting their priorities for HIV and SRHR integration. This is a policy document which included group discussion with children and young people who have experienced conflict themselves. Many of the participants speaking about how their own lives have been affected. This is a policy document about global trends in adolescent pregnancy, childbearing, adolescent maternal deaths, disabilities, unsafe abortion and early marriages.Stand and Deliver: Sex, health and young people
